I’m just a photographer, but I do shoot a limited number of weddings each year. If you’re on this page, it means someone probably referred you to me, and that’s just how I like it.

I don’t advertise or promote my wedding work, I simply rely on word-of-mouth and it’s perfect.

I don’t consider myself a “wedding” photographer.

My wedding philosophy is simple.

It’s about capturing the candid, in-between moments that tell the real story.
To me, your wedding day is not about shot lists.

It’s about one thing - you and your people.  Sure, I'm gonna document the details and the venue and the food and take pretty shots of your rings, but I'm also going to sneak around like a ninja and capture the moments that you never knew were happening.

My Style.

My work is neither “light & airy” nor “dark & moody”. It’s just…authentic. I’m not a trendsetter and I’m certainly not trendy. I strive to be the little black dress of wedding photography. Never out of style and always fun.

Real moments, no repeats.

Candid is king. I don’t like to get in the way and I don’t like to tell you what to do. Of course, some posed shots (like family) are absolutely necessary, but I like to get those out of the way and let you do your thing.

Proud to call New Orleans home.

But I love to travel. I’ll go anywhere and hardly need a wedding as an excuse. If you’ll have me, I’m there.

Here’s the thing about prints

These photos will outlive you. A couple of years ago I found an old shoebox of photos from my grandparent's home. I can't tell you the emotion I felt when looking through them. I was sad that I didn't know these people, my people, in their prime. These photos showed me a side of them that I never knew existed. They were young and so in love. I never met my grandfather (who I'm named after), but I felt like I knew him.

This is the power of photography. Your photos are just as meaningful to future generations, maybe even more so.

Print your freakin’ photos

All of the photos you see above were scanned from 2x3” prints that had been sitting in a shoe box for decades. These moments will last for generations, but not on a hard drive.
